Withdrawing from Studies
We understand there are many reasons why a student may wish to withdraw from studies.
Withdrawing from the University of Liverpool means that you will no longer be a student at this institution so if you later decided to return to studies, you would need to reapply as a new student.
Before withdrawing from studies completely, you could consider the following options:
Transferring to a different programme
It may be possible to transfer to a different programme within the same department or transfer to a completely new department within the University. If this is something you'd like more information on, please contact The Student Experience Team (csstudy@liverpool.ac.uk) to discuss further.
Interrupting your studies
You may wish to stop your studies temporarily before deciding to withdraw completely. You can see further information on the Interruption of Studies page found here.
Withdrawing from studies
If you feel neither of the above is suitable and you would like to withdraw from studies, please contact The Student Experience Team (csstudy@liverpool.ac.uk) or our Learning Teaching Support Officers (SciEng-LTSO@liverpool.ac.uk) so we can send over the relevant documentation and discuss this further.
