SSLC Course Reps are the link between students across the University and the Guild of Students

Staff-Student Liaison Committees (SSLC) are established in accordance with the University Code of Practice on Student Representation available here Links to an external site..

Course Reps are the link between students across the University and the Guild of Students and work with staff and fellow students to improve the learning experience. Course Reps identify and discuss issues which affect their course and help to come up with solutions. All undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Liverpool have at least one Course Rep for each course year - you can find out more about it here Links to an external site..

The Department tries to be as open as possible in the way it runs and students are encouraged to make their views heard. This is not to say every opinion will be acted upon because ultimately academic staff are responsible for using their judgement about how their subject should be taught and assessed. However, student opinion will always be listened to and seriously considered.
