Pebblepad
PebblePad Introduction
PebblePad is a flexible personal learning space and e-portfolio tool for staff and students. (Canvas also has a different, in-built portfolio system).
Pebblepad is split into two distinct areas known as Pebble+ and ATLAS. Pebble+ is a student-owned space that provides support for reflective learning and recording experiences. The tools allow students to easily create a web-based record of achievements and skills and can be used as a CV to showcase their abilities.
Pebblepad is mobile friendly and comes with its own app, PebblePocket, which allows you to capture and record experiences while offline. Student users can migrate their account to a free Alumni Account on graduation or leaving the University, which means they can continue to record their achievements on their lifelong learning journey.
ATLAS, which stands for Active Teaching, Learning and Assessment Space, is the institutionally owned area where assessment and feedback happens. Academic staff can set up structured workbooks for students to complete over the duration of their studies.

PebblePad can also be integrated directly into Canvas, making it seamless to access for students and staff.
Individual resources or wider assessment can be used within the Canvas integration, which can then be submitted, graded and grades synced to the Canvas grade book.
