6. Production

Learning through production is the way the teacher motivates the learner to consolidate what they have learned by articulating their current conceptual understanding and how they used it in practice.

In this type of learning, students produce an artefact (such as an essay, report, portfolio, etc.) as an articulation of what they've learned in order for their educator to evaluate and provide feedback.  This can be as part of a formative/summative assessment process or sharing in a wider context. In this learning type, having to share their artefact (or what they've learned) is as important as the receiving feedback.
