How to Live Stream with Panopto

Panopto offers a webcasting service which can be used as an alternative to Microsoft Teams or Zoom when recording lectures if some students may be off campus, but still need to attend the lecture.

Using Panopto webcasting rather than Teams or Zoom means that recordings can be saved directly into the course’s Panopto Recordings folder, meaning that students have instant access and lecturers do not need to download and upload recordings into the course, saving time.
